A Tale of Two Dinos
Dinny the dino, a 150 ton Apatosaurus, lives on the same street as Mr. Rex, a 100 ton Tyrannosaurus rex, in Cabazon, California. They are the world famous roadside attraction call Cabazon Dinosaurs, also known as Claude Bell's dinosaurs.
The dinosaurs were started in the 60s by Claude Bell to attract customers to his Wheel Inn Cafe. The first of the two dino, Dinny, took 11 years to finish. It was built out of spare materials from the nearby Interstate-10 construction. Both sculptures are habitable buildings.
This is probably the coolest giant waste of space ever. More info here for you nosy people.
